ANSWERS FROM OUR FAMILY TEAM
Your yard shouldn’t be
another thing to worry about.
Dry patches. Watering guesswork. A sprinkler that just won’t cooperate. Here’s what may be happening—and how we can help you find the next step.
Tell us what’s happening in your yardWatering without the guesswork
Why does my lawn have brown or dry patches even though the sprinklers run?
A running system doesn’t always mean even coverage. A blocked nozzle, misaligned head, low pressure, or an area outside the spray pattern can leave part of your yard dry. Shade, soil, grass type, pests, and disease can also affect color—more water isn’t always the answer.
How we can helpWe can check how your irrigation system waters each zone, look for damaged or poorly aimed heads, and discuss adjustments or repairs that address coverage problems.
A useful starting point: Tell us where the patches are, when you first noticed them, and whether one sprinkler zone seems worse than the others.
Ask us about your yardWhy does keeping the yard green seem to cost so much in water?
Leaks, overspray, watering after rain, and unnecessarily long run times can all use water without helping your landscape. A higher bill can also have causes outside the irrigation system.
How we can helpWe can inspect the irrigation components, check for visible signs of leaks, adjust spray direction, and review controller settings. We’ll explain what we find; savings depend on your current system and watering habits.
A useful starting point: Let us know whether the change was sudden and whether you’ve noticed wet spots or sprinklers running at unexpected times.
Ask us about your yardHow often should I water—and for how long?
There isn’t one timer setting that fits every yard. Soil, grass, sun exposure, weather, and the amount your sprinklers apply all matter. A schedule that worked in one season may be wrong in another.
How we can helpWe can help review your controller and watering zones so you understand what the settings do and how to adjust them. We’ll consider your property rather than simply suggesting longer run times.
A useful starting point: Share your current watering days and run times, if you know them. Current local watering rules should also be checked when setting a schedule.
Ask us about your yardDo my flower beds and trees need the same watering as my lawn?
Different plants and growing spaces can have different needs. Watering everything on the same schedule may leave some areas too dry and others too wet.
How we can helpWe can discuss drip irrigation, landscape watering, and separate watering zones where appropriate for your system and planting layout.
A useful starting point: Tell us which beds, shrubs, or trees are struggling and how they’re currently watered.
Ask us about your yardWhen your sprinklers aren’t cooperating
What can you do about broken heads, weak spray, or a zone that won’t turn on?
Sprinkler problems can involve the heads, pipes, valves, controller, or electrical connections. Replacing the most visible part won’t always solve the underlying issue.
How we can helpWe handle irrigation troubleshooting and repairs. We can evaluate the symptoms, identify the work needed, and discuss the scope before moving forward.
A useful starting point: Include the affected zone, any controller error you see, and whether the issue happens every time the system runs.
Ask us about your yardWhy do I have puddles, soggy spots, or water running onto the sidewalk?
A leak, misdirected sprinkler, excessive run time, or water being applied faster than the soil can absorb it may be involved. Pooling can also come from grading or drainage issues.
How we can helpWe can inspect the irrigation side of the problem, look at spray patterns, and review the schedule. If the issue goes beyond irrigation, we’ll discuss what further evaluation may be needed.
A useful starting point: Tell us whether water appears only during watering or remains between cycles. Don’t assume every wet spot is just overwatering.
Ask us about your yardCan you repair my existing system, or do I need a whole new one?
A single failure doesn’t automatically mean a full replacement. The right approach depends on the system’s condition, coverage, components, and the changes you want to make.
How we can helpWe work on existing irrigation systems as well as new installations. We’ll help you understand whether a repair, targeted upgrade, or a new system fits the work your yard needs.
A useful starting point: Tell us what works, what doesn’t, and anything you know about the system’s age or previous repairs.
Ask us about your yardLess work. More time outside.
Can you make watering less of a chore?
Moving hoses, remembering watering times, and repeatedly adjusting a confusing timer can make yard care feel like another job. Automation can help, but it still needs the right setup and occasional checks.
How we can helpWe can discuss a new irrigation system, controller troubleshooting, or an upgrade that makes your existing setup easier to manage. We’ll help you understand the controls.
A useful starting point: Tell us how you water now and which part of the routine is taking the most time.
Ask us about your yardHow can I prepare my irrigation for Panhandle heat and cold?
Hot, dry conditions change watering needs, while freezing temperatures can damage irrigation components. Seasonal preparation depends on your system and the weather; leaving one schedule unchanged year-round isn’t always suitable.
How we can helpWe offer seasonal irrigation checkups, adjustments, and winter preparation. Ask us what care is appropriate for your setup and when to schedule it.
A useful starting point: Let us know whether you need spring startup, a seasonal inspection, or winter preparation.
Ask us about your yardWill fixing my irrigation get rid of weeds, pests, or lawn disease?
Not necessarily. A struggling lawn may have several causes, and adding water without understanding the problem can make some conditions worse. Weeds, pests, and disease need their own identification.
How we can helpWe can evaluate irrigation coverage and watering issues that may contribute to stress. Tell us about other landscaping needs so we can discuss whether they fall within our work or need a different specialist.
A useful starting point: Describe the symptoms and when they appeared. We won’t present an irrigation repair as a cure for every lawn problem.

Who will I be talking to?
We’re a father-and-son company. I’m Bruce, a U.S. Army veteran, and my son Corban works alongside me. Our family and faith shape the care we bring to our work.
How we can helpTell us what you need through our contact form. We’ll discuss your property, the issue or project, and the next step.
A useful starting point: We primarily serve Amarillo and Canyon, Texas, with residential yards as our main focus and commercial irrigation welcome.
Ask us about your yardWhat will the work cost?
The price depends on what’s wrong, the parts and labor involved, access to the system, and the size or complexity of the project. A description is a good starting point, but some problems need an on-site evaluation.
How we can helpWe’ll talk through the work and the proposed scope so you can understand your options. Ask about evaluation charges and the estimate process when arranging service.
A useful starting point: Include your location, the service you need, and a short description of the problem. We don’t list a one-size-fits-all price for repairs.
Ask us about your yardWhat should I include in my service request?
